Frank Johnson,a Florida native(USA)-started playing drums in 1967,
with Progressive Rock being the preffered Style.Major Influences
were Emerson,Lake,& Palmer,Triumvirat,Mahavishnu Orchestra,Led Zeppilin,Kansas,Yes,RUSH,Van Halen,& other Prog Rock acts of the 70's.-
BUT-no Dinosaur,am up to speed on New Music,and really like a blend of progressive symphonic art rock & classic rock.

In the 80's,became interested in Digital percussion & MIDI,since,have stayed on top of the tech,and recorded some very cool stuff !

Now since 2006, I have a Trapkat and a full blown MIDI Rig,so stay tuned-
Be clear-the acoustic drums are my first love,---Digital drums are their own instrument,with a lot of possibilities that acoustics dont provide.

Played with a lot of bands in the Orange County & Brevard area,some original ,Metal,Southern Rock,and Classic Rock,will be starting a New band for 2007 soon,
